  PROGRAMMES
BRIDGE
BRIDGE is an intensive day program designed to provide intensive treatment for outpatients who need extra support to continue in their recovery. It is also facilitates the re-entry into the community of inpatients who have been through detoxification. BRIDGE provides a structured therapeutic environment to support learning about recovery from addiction. It is located at the Institute of Mental Health and is organized by the Community Addictions Management Program.

Recovery Support Groups
The purpose of the recovery support group is to provide support for those who struggle with addictions. Because honesty and consistency are keys to recovery, members are encouraged to share their story of their addictive behaviour. By sharing their story, members help themselves and others in the group to learn about recovery.

Project S.A.V.E.
In conjunction with the Family and Juvenile Justice Court and Ministry of Community Development and Sports (MCDS), this project deals with violence under the influence of alcohol in families. Launched in March 2002 as a pilot project, S.A.V.E. has since seen more than 50 cases. In beginning of 2004, S.A.V.E. became a full-fledged programme and has evolved to see other cases involving other forms of addiction like drugs and gambling.

For more information on Project S.A.V.E., please call 6389 2294.
